Bamford London Turns Up The Colour With The New GMT Neon Series
Summer watches should be fun. They should look good by the pool, work just as well on holiday and ideally bring a little colour to your wrist. Bamford London clearly got the memo, because its latest GMT collection is anything but subtle.
Launching today, the new Bamford London GMT Neon Series introduces five seriously vibrant colourways, combining the brand's Swiss Made automatic GMT with bold monochromatic dials and matching straps.
Available in Aqua Blue, Electric Green, Sunset Orange, Neon Lime and Hot Pink, these are watches designed to stand out, whether you're heading somewhere exotic or simply attempting to inject a bit of summer into another questionable British weather forecast.

Five Shades Of Summer
The Neon Series takes Bamford London's familiar approach to playful watch design and turns the saturation dial all the way up.
Each model features a monochromatic dial matched to a textured Cordura strap with leather lining. If that isn't quite summery enough, there's also an optional white rubber strap, which should make these particularly well suited to days spent around the pool or on the beach.
The star of the show, though, might be the dial itself.
Each watch features Bamford London's signature engraved ripple effect pattern, with concentric circles radiating outwards from the centre. The inspiration comes from the way a single touch creates ripples across water, representing those small moments that can turn into lasting memories.
It also gives the dial some much needed texture and depth, especially when paired with colours this bold.
A Proper GMT Underneath The Neon
While the colours are undoubtedly going to grab most of the attention, this isn't simply a fashion watch dressed up for summer.
Inside sits a Swiss Made automatic GMT movement, giving the wearer the ability to track an additional time zone. That makes plenty of sense for a collection built around travel and summer adventures.
You also get a sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance, meaning the Neon Series has enough everyday practicality to back up its colourful appearance.
The combination is an interesting one. These are undeniably playful watches, but underneath the neon exterior sits a genuinely useful travel complication.
As George Bamford explains:
"We wanted to create something that simply makes people smile. Watches don't always have to take themselves seriously."
It's difficult to argue with that when you're looking at a fluorescent lime GMT.
Our Pick Of The Five?
Picking between the five will probably come down to just how much attention you want your wrist to attract.
The Blue feels like the easiest everyday option, while Electric Green and Sunset Orange dial things up considerably. Hot Pink isn't exactly going to disappear under the cuff either.
Then there's Neon Lime, which might just be our pick. It's loud, slightly ridiculous and exactly the sort of watch that makes sense when the sun finally decides to make an appearance.
Sometimes watches don't need to be serious.
Winding Things Up
The Bamford London GMT Neon Series feels like exactly the sort of collection Bamford should be making.
It's colourful, playful and immediately recognisable, while still offering the practicality of an automatic GMT movement, sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance.
At £1,450, these aren't inexpensive summer watches, but they do offer something genuinely different from the endless sea of black, blue and silver GMTs already out there.
The five colourways are Aqua Blue, Electric Green, Sunset Orange, Neon Lime and Hot Pink, with the collection available from 3pm on 17 July 2026.
If your watch box is looking a little too sensible, Bamford London might have just found the answer.
