Farer Introduces Two Refined New Additions To Its GMT Bezel Collection

British watchmaker Farer has expanded its colourful GMT Bezel collection with two striking new additions, the Nevada Pine 40mm and Nevada Mocha 38mm. Described simply as “The Two New GMT Bezel Watches”, the pair continues the brand’s long standing obsession with vibrant colour combinations, playful detailing and genuinely usable travel watch functionality.

At a time when many GMT watches are becoming increasingly serious and predictable, Farer continues to lean into personality. And honestly, that is exactly why collectors keep coming back.

The Nevada Pine 40mm

The new Nevada Pine arrives in a larger 40mm case and immediately grabs attention with its deep Nordic green gradient dial paired with a jade coloured sapphire bezel insert. The textured barley corn guilloché pattern gives the dial a huge amount of depth, especially when light hits it from different angles. Farer describes the pattern as being inspired by geometric spirograph designs and it definitely gives the watch a more premium feel than its price point might suggest. A bright orange GMT hand cuts through the green tones perfectly, adding just enough contrast without becoming overpowering.

The Nevada Mocha 38mm

The Nevada Mocha takes a slightly different approach. Sized at 38mm, it feels a little more restrained and arguably more versatile. The cocoa gradient dial combined with coffee cream accents gives the watch a warm vintage inspired character, while the royal blue GMT hand adds that classic Farer twist of unexpected colour. Like the Pine, the Mocha uses the same textured guilloché surface and sapphire bezel insert, this time in rich brown and cream tones that almost make the watch look edible.

Both watches sit within Farer’s revamped GMT Bezel platform that returned earlier this year after a two year absence. The updated case design features the brand’s distinctive concave “ski slope” lugs alongside a more refined overall shape that wears far better than previous generations. Water resistance comes in at a very solid 200 metres, while the watches are powered by the reliable Sellita SW330 2 automatic GMT movement with 56 hours of power reserve.

One thing Farer consistently gets right is balance. These watches are undeniably colourful, but never feel gimmicky. The Nevada Pine feels fresh and energetic without crossing into novelty territory, while the Nevada Mocha delivers a softer more vintage leaning aesthetic that could easily become a daily wear piece.

At £1,375, the pair also sit in a sweet spot within the modern GMT market. There are plenty of brands offering safe black dial travel watches around this price point, but very few are willing to experiment with texture, colour and personality in the way Farer does.

And that is ultimately what makes these two new releases so appealing. Farer understands that watches are supposed to be fun. The Nevada Pine and Nevada Mocha are practical GMT tool watches underneath, but they also carry the kind of visual identity that makes you actually want to wear them. In a market full of increasingly similar looking travel watches, that matters more than ever.
