Seiko And Rowing Blazers Revive The Rally Diver With Two Fresh Limited Editions

Seiko has teamed up with American fashion label Rowing Blazers once again, and this time the pair have brought back one of their most popular collaborations. Joining forces with vintage watch specialist Wind Vintage, the trio has unveiled two new takes on the much loved Rally Diver, offering enthusiasts a choice of sizes, colours and plenty of retro motorsport charm.

The original Rally Diver became something of an instant collector's piece when it launched several years ago, blending vintage Seiko design with Rowing Blazers' colourful preppy aesthetic. Those original models now regularly change hands for well above retail, so expectations for this latest release are understandably high.

Two Sizes, Two Personalities

Rather than simply releasing another colour variation, Seiko has split the collection into two distinct watches.

The first features a compact 38mm stainless steel case paired with a rich racing green dial. The second grows to 42.5mm and swaps green for a vibrant ocean blue, giving buyers the choice between a more vintage inspired wearing experience or a larger modern sports watch.

Both models retain the playful chequered bezel design that made the original Rally Diver stand out from the crowd. The look is heavily inspired by classic motor racing from the 1960s and 1970s, with bold colours, oversized lume plots and unmistakable Seiko character.

Familiar Seiko Reliability

Underneath the colourful exterior is proven Seiko hardware.

Both watches are powered by the dependable 4R36 automatic movement, offering hand winding, hacking seconds and around 41 hours of power reserve. Water resistance comes in at 100 metres, making these perfectly capable everyday sports watches rather than display only collector's pieces.

The watches also feature Hardlex crystal, exhibition case backs and stainless steel bracelets, staying faithful to the familiar Seiko 5 Sports formula.

Limited But Not Impossible To Own

Unlike some previous collaborations that disappeared almost instantly, Seiko and Rowing Blazers have increased production for this release.

Each version will be limited to 2,500 individually numbered pieces, giving collectors a better chance of securing one while still maintaining genuine exclusivity. Retail pricing is set at $495, which converts to approximately £365 at current exchange rates before any UK taxes or import charges.

A Collaboration That Keeps Getting Better

Collaborations can often feel forced, but Seiko and Rowing Blazers continue to strike the right balance. The watches remain unmistakably Seiko while injecting enough personality to make them feel genuinely special.

The Rally Diver has become something of a cult favourite thanks to its playful styling and accessible pricing. Bringing it back with two different case sizes broadens its appeal even further, whether you prefer vintage proportions or something with a little more wrist presence.

Winding Things Up

Limited edition collaborations often divide opinion, but this one feels like another hit. Seiko has resisted the temptation to overcomplicate things, instead refining a formula that enthusiasts already loved.

With proven mechanics, eye catching colours and pricing that remains refreshingly sensible, these latest Rally Divers look set to become another sell out success. If previous Rowing Blazers collaborations are anything to go by, don't expect them to stay available for very long.
