Time+Tide x Studio Underd0g – Pizza Party 2.0

What started life as one of the most gloriously unhinged April Fool’s jokes in modern watchmaking has officially risen from the oven. Time+Tide has once again teamed up with the brilliantly offbeat Studio Underd0g to serve up two new pizza inspired chronographs, and yes, they are every bit as fun as you are hoping.

Following the cult success of the original pizza pieces, the pair return with two new flavours: the Burnt Pepper0ni and the Classic Cheese. What began as a wink to the community has become something far bigger. These are watches that exist because collectors leaned in, laughed loudly, and then demanded seconds.

Burnt Pepper0ni

As the name suggests, this is the darker and moodier slice of the duo. The dial leans into deep toasted tones, evoking the crisped edges of a well done pie. It is playful, yes, but there is real wrist presence here. The colour balance is surprisingly wearable, with enough contrast to keep things legible while still delivering that unmistakable pizza party energy.

It is the kind of watch that starts conversations before you have even ordered drinks.

Classic Cheese

If Burnt Pepper0ni is bold, Classic Cheese is pure nostalgia. Inspired by the simple joy of a classic New York slice, this version keeps things bright, warm and unmistakably tongue in cheek. The detailing is clever without being overworked, and the overall execution shows just how comfortable Studio Underd0g has become at walking the line between novelty and proper watchmaking.

It is light hearted but never lazy.

The mechanical bit

Both models are powered by a manual wind chronograph movement, reinforcing that beneath the melted mozzarella aesthetic sits something genuinely satisfying to operate. The case proportions remain true to the brand’s accessible and wearable ethos, striking a balance between vintage charm and modern comfort.

Pushers feel crisp, the dial layouts are clean despite the thematic chaos, and there is enough mechanical credibility here to keep even the hardened enthusiast on side.

Why this works

In a market saturated with earnest heritage reissues and safe colour tweaks, Pizza Party 2.0 feels refreshingly self aware. It does not pretend to change horology forever. It simply reminds us that watches are meant to be enjoyed.

And that, frankly, is the point.

The Burnt Pepper0ni and Classic Cheese are limited, lively, and very likely to disappear quickly. If the first serving taught us anything, it is that collectors have a serious appetite for watches that do not take themselves too seriously.

Sometimes, the best slice is the one that makes you smile when you check the time. Great job guys!
